Tollywood Star Hero Akkineni Nagarjuna was born on 29th August 1959 in Chennai Tamil Nadu. Nagarjuna had completed his studies in Public School and Little Flower Junior College, in Hyderabad Andhra Pradesh.Again he went Chennai and completed his graduation from College of Engineering, Guindy in Chennai Tamil Nadu state. Later he went abroad for higher studies and completed his M.S. in Automobiles at Eastern Michigan University in America.Nagarjuna's father Nageswara Rao Akkineni was also a famous actor he could see the Telugu cinema industry from very close range and learned many things about cinema industry. Nagarjuna often visit's his father’s shooting places along with his father all the time. Nagarjuna started his movie career with the film at the age of eight years old in Sudigundalu starring with his father Akkineni Nageswara Rao.

He started his film career with the movie called "Vikram" he was the lead role in that movie and that movie released in 1986 with opposite actress Shobhana and other actors Satyanarayana, that movie became a commercial hit in those days. Nagarjuna's first blockbuster hit was "Aakhari Poratam" with opposite Sridevi and Suhasini released in 1988.Nagarjuna became a popular in all over India with the movie called "Geethanjali" directed by famous director Mani Ratnam and he also received National Film Award in 1989. And he also entered into Bollywood debut with the movie Shiva directed by popular director Ram Gopal Varma released on 5th October 1989.And then he never saw back he received many awards and blockbuster hits like Killer, Neti Siddhartha, Chaithanya, Allari Alludu, President Gari Pellam, Gharana Bullodu, chinniNirnayam, Ninne Pelladata and his recent hits like Annamayya, Manam, Oopiri, Soggade Chinni Nayana.
